How many staff will you need for your event?

You can have just 1 staff member or as many as 35 staff. Event planner; captain; servers; bartenders; bar backs; cocktail servers; chefs; prep cooks; porters; valets; all can help with set up and break down.

 

Are you also a caterer?

We plan and cook our own menus and recipes. EPPH can work with your personal foods or help with the presentation of another caterer you would like to work with.

Do you provide beverages or alcohol and bartenders?

We can help you with beverages for a full or standard bar. We can supply your bar needs. Another option is for you to buy the alcohol and beverages. EPPH staff will professionally set up the bar for you, provide bartenders and cocktail waitresses.

Are your staffed experienced?

Our staff are professionally trained and experienced in the areas you need. We implement the most effective staff for your specific event, according to the needs of the host and the hostess. Our company has 20 years of experience.

Do you have chefs who can create and cook a menu from scratch?

YES, we have 20 years' experience with a large variety or menus. We try to be unique and versatile with each clients request and menu.

Why is it advisable to order an event captain?

Captains can assure the event is as smooth as possible and only one person to communicate with the host or hostess. With an experienced captain their is less confusion and more successful events. If there are more than 15 people a captain is required.

What are your hourly rates for staff only?

They vary according to the type of events. The price is also varies from $15 to $50 an hour per staff + gratuity and transportion fee. The price also depends on the  type or date of the event. If it is a holiday the prices are higher. We need details about your budget and details of you special party or event.

How do you handle billing?

Cash or Paypal or Venmo for first time, for staff only. Our billing for catering requires a deposit. It is half the cost 2 weeks prior to your event. The other half the day staff arrives.We accept PayPal.

I need a bartender tonight, or staff tomorrow, this weekend. Do you have anybody available?

We are known for our last minute availability, anywhere on Maui and Oahu.

 

What about gratuities?

We would like you to determine the gratuity at the end of the night according to our service. The gratuity usually ranges between 18% to 25% of the cost of the food, The bar and is the total cost given for hourly staff. On holidays there is an increase of 25% to 35% gratuity.

What if my plans change? What are your cancellation policies?

We will not cancel on you but if for some reason you cancel on catering we would agree to 2 weeks prior to the event. After that the deposit would be retained.

 

Are you required to feed our staff a meal? We do not expect all parties to provide a meal. In most cases where there is plenty of leftovers. We are almost always offered a plate to take with us or to eat at breaks or slow time.
