Our Story

LAREE PURDY, owner of EPPH was an Executive Director Of Hawaii's Homeless Women and Children's Crisis Intervention for 17 years. When she retired Laree set out to write a book on homelessness. As she began her research. She evaluated which jobs would work for the homeless. Laree tried several jobs herself. on-call jobs seemed to work best for the homeless. if they were unable to get transportation or clothes together they could say no and still say yes to the next call for a job. She applied to Oahu's top catering company. The company was slowly closed in the partners were heading toward independent careers.  

This opportunity gave her the most incredible training in every area of Catering; event planning; waitstaff; captain; bartending; food prep, preparing packing for events, and more. She was taught by the best in the Event industry. 20 years later EPPH has been involved in the success of every type of event & Party across Oahu and Maui.
